The Ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with MyGov is hosting a Logo and Tagline Contest for Vibrant Villages Programme. The last date of submission is March 12.
About
The objective of Vibrant Villages Programme(VVP) is comprehensive development of the identified villages under VVP locating in the vicinity of International Land Border for improving the quality of life of people living and to encourage them staying in their native locations.
The programme focuses on the following 10 areas:
- Economic growth – Livelihood generation
- Road Connectivity
- Village Infrastructure
- Energy including renewable energy through Solar and Wind Power
- Television & Telecom Connectivity including setting up of IT enabled Common Service Centre in the village
- Regeneration of eco-system
- Promotion of tourism and culture
- Financial inclusion
- Skill development and entrepreneurship
- Development of Co-operative Societies for managing livelihood opportunities including agriculture/ horticulture/ cultivation of medicinal plants / herbs etc.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
Technical Parameters
- The logo must be submitted in JPG, JPEG or PNG format.
- The logo must be designed on a digital platform that can be easily replicated on websites, social media posts, printed banners and so on.
- The winning participant must submit an open and editable logo file.
- The logo must be an original design work. Any proof of plagiarism, imitation, replication, etc shall lead to disqualification.
- Participants should submit a brief (not more than 100 words) to explain the rationale and relevance of the designed logo and the provided tagline with the given theme.
- The logo should be designed in a coloured format.
- The logo and tagline should be usable on the website, social media platforms, and printable such as stationary, signboards, magazines, standees, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, souvenirs, and other publicity.
- The logo image should be in high resolution with a minimum of 300 DPI.
- The logo should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed onscreen at 100%.
- Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
- The logo design should not be imprinted or watermarked.

Evaluation Criteria
- The submitted logo designs and taglines will be assessed, and winner will be decided by a committee consisting of representatives of MHA and MyGov.
- The Final winner will be declared based on the following criteria:
- Relevance and Alignment to the theme of the programme
- Creativity and Innovation of thought
- Originality
- The decision of the committee would be final. No clarifications would be issued to any participants about the decision of the committee.
Awards
Winner will be rewarded with ₹50,000/-.
