About the Training

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is committed to enhancing the professional development of educators, particularly those involved in teaching skill-based subjects. In this context, the Department of Skill Education at CBSE is organizing a one-day offline training and capacity-building program specifically for teachers of the ‘Food Nutrition & Dietetics’ skill subject (Sub. Code – 834).

Event Details

The training will take place on September 4, 2024 (Wednesday) at the Arya Mahila Nagarmal Murarka Model School in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The session will run from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with participants expected to report by 9:30 AM. The venue is located in the Aryamahila Compound, beside Hathuwa Market, Ramakanth Nagar, Varanasi. This in-person training offers a unique opportunity for educators to deepen their understanding of the subject and to exchange best practices with peers.

Registration and Participation

Teachers who are currently teaching ‘Food Nutrition & Dietetics’ as a skill subject are required to register for the program using the provided registration link. The registration deadline is September 2, 2024. Participation in this training is mandatory for all eligible teachers from CBSE-affiliated schools. However, it is important to note that CBSE will not cover travel or accommodation expenses, although there is no fee to attend the program.
