About CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.
About the Session
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is hosting a special online session for school leaders and principals focused on emerging technologies and the revised AI curriculum for classes XI and XII. Scheduled for August 29, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, this session will provide insights into cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI, Data Analytics, and Blockchain, and their applications within the school ecosystem.
What to Expect?
Emerging Technologies: The session will cover the impact of Generative AI on creativity and future job markets, the role of Data Analytics in enhancing educational outcomes, and the potential of Blockchain in securing student records and streamlining school administration.
Revised AI Curriculum: Attendees will receive an overview of the revised AI curriculum for grades XI and XII, developed in collaboration with IBM. The session will highlight the new and improved aspects of the curriculum, the benefits of choosing AI as an elective, and the integration of practical applications and capstone projects to boost student engagement.
