Applications are invited for Bachelor of Vocational Studies 2023 in Social Research and Data Management at TISS. The last date of application is May 30, 2023.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences is a multi-campus public university in Mumbai.

The course aims to impart basic caveats of research, process and underlying philosophy of social research to the students. The specific objective of the course is to introduce the student to the philosophy and significance of social research and research process. This is important to both induct the students into the idea and importance of social research and more importantly introduce the specific technical aspects of research.

The eligibility for admission to B.Voc. in Social Research and Data Management shall be 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream.

The B.Voc degree is a regular full time programme of 3 years duration.

A graduate can get the job of research scientist. A research scientist is responsible for designing and analysing information collected from laboratory-based investigations and experiments. A research scientist can work for Government Labs, Environmental Organisations, Research Organisations, etc.
