I had undergone written & oral tests and even a personal interview of my parents along with me was taken.
I really like the fact that the staff here is really concerned about the students. All the teachers pay attention to all the students in the class. As for my personal experience till now, I had a concern about my subjects and it was immediately put into consideration by the heads. The discipline in the school is just next level. After my experiences in different schools, I have observed that this school is very strict in its discipline.
The school’s dedicated teachers deserve recognition for their hard work and commitment to students’ success. They are seen as supportive and highly knowledgeable in their respective subjects, often going the extra mile to assist students who require additional support. Till now, it has been a really great experience in this school with the faculty.
I think that the teachers sometimes really get into the personal life of the student as some people do not like being invaded in their personal life. Also, I see most of the teachers target some particular students because of their personal grudge against them.
The school boasts spacious classrooms, fully-equipped laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities, creating an environment conducive to learning and personal growth. The investment made in these facilities demonstrates the school’s commitment to providing a top-notch educational experience to its students.
The school has very well-equipped facilities with LED TV in classrooms for students’ better way of learning. There are a lot of different types of sports facilities available in the school such as gymnastics, shooting, basketball, swimming, etc.
The school’s infrastructure is not as modern as what I have observed. The infrastructure is poorly maintained, with not-so-updated furniture, outdated equipment, and unsanitary washrooms. This creates an unhygienic and uncomfortable learning environment for students. There is a lack of space for activities such as art, music, dance, or drama.
This restricts the overall development and creative expression of students. I experienced the lack of space as well when we were practising for our dance competition, we had to practice in empty classrooms rather than a proper dance room. There is also no auditorium a hall or a proper stage for the performances of events.
Most students receive attention from the teachers. Teachers devote more time to lesson planning, preparation, and professional development. They continuously upgrade their teaching skills and provide high-quality education to the students. There is an interactive and collaborative learning environment. Teachers provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
One significant concern raised by parents and students is the high student-teacher ratio, which sometimes hampers individual attention and personalized guidance. This issue highlights the need for class sizes to be reduced or more teachers to be hired, to enhance the learning experience and ensure that each student receives the necessary academic support. I feel like there should be more interaction between the teachers and the students as an individual.
‘Basics of Criminal Law’
A wide range of sports facilities and physical activities. They have well-maintained sports grounds, swimming pools, and facilities for various indoor and outdoor games, promoting overall physical fitness and sportsmanship among students.
The school provides a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Students have opportunities to participate in art, music, dance, drama, debates, quizzes, and other cultural and academic competitions.
The school offers career counselling services to help students identify their interests, strengths, and suitable career paths. They guide college admissions, higher education options, and future career prospects.
The school provides well-equipped science and computer laboratories for practical learning experiences. These labs enable students to conduct experiments, explore scientific concepts, and gain hands-on experience in computer programming and technology.
Delhi Public School Surat actively promotes community service initiatives, fostering a sense of social responsibility and empathy among students. They organize activities such as blood donation drives, charity events, and awareness campaigns, instilling values of compassion and giving back to society.
If there are any areas where the infrastructure could be enhanced, such as better maintenance of facilities, expansion of classrooms or laboratories, or upgrading technology, it would contribute to an improved learning environment.
Encouraging and facilitating increased parental involvement through workshops, seminars, and regular communication can strengthen the school-parent partnership and enhance the overall learning experience for students.
Moreover, increasing the number of teachers so that each student gets personal attention in their field is something I would like to implement.
