This is a notification about The Don T. and Geneva E. Sprague Scholarship by Ball State University, Indiana for Undergraduate Psychology Students!
Ball State University is a public research university in Muncie, Indiana. It has two satellite facilities in Fishers and Indianapolis.
Ball State is classified among “R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity”. The university is composed of seven academic colleges. As of Fall 2020, total enrollment was 21,597 students, including 15,205 undergraduates and 5,817 postgraduates. The university offers about 120 undergraduate majors and 130 minor areas of study and more than 100 master’s, doctoral, certificate, and specialist degrees.
There are more than 400 student organizations and clubs on campus, including 31 fraternities and sororities. Ball State athletic teams compete in Division I of the NCAA and are known as the Ball State Cardinals. The university is a member of the Mid-American Conference and the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. In the fall of 2020, the university formed a varsity esports team and joined the Esports Collegiate Conference.
At Ball State, 80 percent of our students are eligible for financial aid. The Department of Psychological Science offers several scholarships to help you pursue your bachelor’s degree.
This scholarship is designed to be used to reimburse students for up to $100 of expenses incurred in the presentation of research or other scholarly work at a regional or national conference (i.e., American Psychological Association, National Association of School Psychologists, Indiana Psychological Association, etc.) including reimbursement of conference registration, hotel, travel, per diem, and miscellaneous expenses.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year on an ongoing basis. Submit printed application forms signed by a faculty mentor to the Chair of the Resources Committee in North Quad 104 (Sprague Scholarship Application Form).
