Applications are invited for PM YASASVI Scholarship 2023 for Students in Classes 9 and 11 by Ministry of Social Justice. The last date of application is August 10, 2023.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India has formulated a scheme known as PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) for award of scholarships to eligible candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/S-NT) categories, (the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs) studying in Class IX and Class XI in identified Top Schools across India.
Selection of candidates for the award of scholarships under the scheme is through a written test called YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST, and the NTA has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the same.
Rs. 75,000 p.a. for Class 9/10; Rs. 1,25,000 p.a. for Class 11/12 – covering the school tuition fee/hostel fee.
Pen and Paper mode (OMR based).
Objective Type comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs).
2½ hours (150 minutes).
English and Hindi.
