Applications are invited for Girl Child Scholarship 2024-25 by Science Olympiad Foundation. The last date of submission is December 31, 2024.

SOF is an Educational Organization popularizing academic competition and assisting development of competitive spirit among school children.

SOF was established by leading academicians, scientists and media personalities with the aim of promoting Science, Mathematics, Computer Education, English, Social Studies, General Knowledge, Hindi and professional courses. Science Olympiad Foundation has been striving for over 25 years to promote scientific attitude and temperament through innovative activities and use of IT in learning process that involve school students across the globe. 

In the present times when the world is totally pivoted on science and IT, it is pertinent to think and plan about the future – a future in which the children of the present shall be the leaders of tomorrow. Regular qualitative and quantitative assessment needs to be done at the national/international level in order to build up the scientific, commercial and IT talent pool. It is in this sphere that the role of SOF has been much appreciated over these last many years, so much so that The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, through The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and many highly reputed organizations like The British Council, Star Sports, Techfest IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, National University of Singapore & TCS, etc. have volunteered to partner and support SOF’s various programmes.

SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (G.C.S.S) 2024-25 is an opportunity provided by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for female students studying in Class 1 to 10. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students from economically disadvantaged families so they can continue their school education. A total of 300 female students will be awarded a one-time scholarship of ₹5,000 each.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

300 selected girl children across India will receive ₹5,000 each annually.

A signed copy of the previous year’s report card from the recommending school’s principal.
