Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravati Scholarship for Class 10 Passed ST Students by Government of Himachal Pradesh: Apply by Nov 30

Applications are invited for Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravati Scholarship for Class 10 Passed ST Students by Government of Himachal Pradesh. The last date of application is November 30, 2023.

Himachal Pradesh is a state in the northern part of India. Situated in the Western Himalayas, it is one of the thirteen mountain states and is characterized by an extreme landscape featuring several peaks and extensive river systems.

Himachal Pradesh is the northernmost state of India and shares borders with the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to the north, and the states of Punjab to the west, Haryana to the southwest, Uttarakhand to the southeast and a very narrow border with Uttar Pradesh to the south. The state also shares an international border to the east with the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. Himachal Pradesh is also known as Dev Bhoomi or Dev Bhumi, meaning ‘Land of Gods’ and Veer Bhoomi which means ‘Land of the Brave’.

Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana, Himachal Pradesh 2023 is an initiative of the Government of Himachal Pradesh to financially help the meritorious students of the ST community who have passed Class 10. The students must have taken admission in Class 11 or have taken admission in any professional/technical courses to be eligible for the scholarship. The selected scholars will receive ₹ 11,000 per annum. 

To be eligible, an applicant must – 

A total of 100 girls and 100 boys will receive ₹ 11,000 per annum for two years.

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
