Applications are invited for the GIIS Global Sports Scholarship by Global Indian International School, Ahmedabad. Apply by June 30, 2023!

The Global Schools Foundation (GSF) has been contributing to the needs of deserving students through various programmes and initiatives.

With the Global Sports Scholarship (GSS) program, GSF aims to provide foundational support to young sportspersons and recognise their achievements at the international, national and state levels.

Along with the financial support, the scholarship will also focus on encouraging budding talents through proper mentorship as and when required.

This scholarship is aimed at students who are residents of India, including existing parents and student fraternities of GIIS, across all grades from grades 1-12.

Candidates are invited to apply for Global Sports Scholarship across various individual and team disciplines including, Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Gymnastics, Swimming, Archery, Shooting, Boxing, Weightlifting, Cycling, Diving, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Netball, Traditional Games (kho-kho, Kabaddi), Martial Arts (Judo & Karate), Wrestling, Hockey, Cricket, Rugby and Squash.

Categories	Eligibility Criteria	Scholarship Value
Category A	Awarded at International Sports	Sports Expenses: 100% subject to a max of INR 6 lacs per year for 3 consecutive years. Academic Expenses: 100% on total fees.
Category B	Represented at International Sports	Sports Expenses: 100% subject to a max of INR 4 lacs per year for 3 consecutive years. Academic Expenses: 100% on total fees.
Category C	‍Awarded at National Sports	Sports Expenses: 100% subject to a max of INR 2.25 lacs per year for 3 consecutive years.   Academic Expenses: 100% on total fees.
Category D	Represented at National Sports	Sports Expenses: 100% subject to a max of INR 1.25 lacs per year for 3 consecutive years. Academic Expenses: 100% on total fees.
Category E	Awarded at State Level	Sports Expenses: 90% subject to a max of INR 75,000 per year for 3 consecutive years. Academic Expenses: 90% on total fees.
Category F	Represented at State Level	Sports Expenses: 90% subject to a max of INR 25,000 per year for 3 consecutive years .   Academic Expenses: 90% on total fees.
