It is the objective of the NCERT to design and support a common system of education for the country that is national in character, as well as to enable and encourage the diverse cultural practices across the country as a whole. Based on the recommendations of the Education Commission (1964–66), the first national policy statement on education was issued in 1968.

As you would be aware, NCERT as part of its mandate to develop curriculum, syllabus and reaching Learning Material (TLM) for various stages or school education, has developed Jaadui Pitara for the foundational stage.

It is requested to issue directions for procurement of Jaadui Pitara and Educational Kits from GeM and for their formal introduction as TLM in your schools across the country’ This will ensure introduction of experiential learning in schools as a follow-up of National Education policy, 2020.
