The Central Board of Secondary Education is organizing a webinar for sensitizing its teachers and students about various road safety rules & provisions. Road transport has become an integral part of every human life. Along with minimizing the distances, the present transport system has also increased the risk of life.
Every year, lakhs of lives are lost and crores of people are seriously injured in road accidents. In most cases, these accidents occur either due to a lack of carelessness or due to a lack of road safety awareness. Hence road safety information & education is as essential as any other basic skill of survival.
To encourage safer road user behavior and provide timely help to the victims of road accidents, an awareness program is being organized by CBSE, which will help in creating awareness about the etiquette & rules on road safety and help protect our students and teachers from road accidents and its unfortunate consequences.
The School Principals/Heads are requested to inform all the teachers and students of their respective schools about this webinar and encourage them to participate in this program.
