G20, Indian Navy & Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA) invite 10,000 schools across the country to join the celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Kaal’ & India’s G20 Presidency with their unique initiative, the Indian Navy Quiz (THINQ 2023), one of the biggest quiz competitions!
The CBSE Board has also asked school principals and teachers to pass on the information so that the students may participate and avail the maximum benefit.
The Indian Navy is a well-balanced and cohesive three-dimensional force, capable of operating above, on and under the surface of the oceans, efficiently safeguarding our national interests. It is the maritime branch of the Indian Armed Forces.
G20 THINQ is an exciting quiz competition that aims at providing the brightest, young minds, the future leaders of the country to experience the Indian Navy. Participants will instil a sense of national pride and patriotism while showcasing their knowledge and intellect.
The event begins with engaging quizzing rounds, leading to an all-sponsored trip for the top 16 teams for the semi-finals in Mumbai. The National Finals would be held at Gateway of India, Mumbai.
The two best quizzers will then form the ‘Indian Team’ for the International round at India Gate, New Delhi.
It is open for school children studying in classes 9 to 12.

Early September 2023 | Online Elimination Round I | The top 50% of Teams based on score and time taken will qualify for Elimination Round – II. |
Mid-September 2023 | Online Elimination Round II | The top 50% of Teams based on score and time taken will qualify for the next round/quarter-finals. |
End September 2023 | Online Quarter Finals | The top 16 teams based on score and time taken will qualify for the Semi-Finals. |
Novemeber 17, 2023 | Semi-Finals at Mumbai | The Top 16 teams from the Quarterfinals will be organised into two semi-finals of 8 teams each. The top 4 teams from each semi-final will qualify for the National Finals. |
November 17, 2023 | National Finals at Gateway of India | One winner will be chosen and two teams will be adjudged as first and second runner-ups. A jury composed of a homogeneous group of service officers, academicians and professionals would thereafter identify the three best quizzers (two main quizzers and one standby) who would form the “Indian team” for participation in the International round. |
