CIET-NCERT is organizing Online Training on Safe Online Communication from July 3 to July 7, 2023, from 4 PM to 5 PM.
National Education Policy (2020) envisions the use of technology in education. At the same time, it also emphasizes the safety and security of children, including cyber safety and security to provide a pleasant and productive learning space.
With the recent shift towards e-learning and a significant increase in online communication, it has become mandatory to sensitize children and teachers on secure online communication as well as equip them to handle the threats of cyber-attacks and other such phenomena. Safe online communication also cultivates digital citizenship skills, promoting responsible behaviour and respectful online interactions.
In this context, CIET-NCERT is organizing a five-hour online training series on Safe Online Communication from July 3-7, 2023 from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm to leverage the understanding of teachers, students, teacher educators, administrators, and other stakeholders of school education on the need, importance of secure online communication in the educational ecosystem.
After completion of the training series, the learner will be able to:

Step 2: Participants have to attend training sessions, which will be live-streamed on NCERT’s Official YouTube channel from July 3 to 7, 2023 from 4:00-5:00 pm (Monday to Friday). The session will also be telecast live on the following:

Step 3: Participate in the post-session quiz, and score 70% & above to get a certificate.
Participants are allowed to attempt the quiz only once and those scoring 70% and above in the quiz will receive a certificate of participation in their registered mail ID within 30 days of taking the post-session quiz (Check in SPAM Mail if not found in the Inbox).
