MyGov in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, India is hosting a Logo Design Contest for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a central sector scheme launched on February 24, 2019, by the Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi to supplement the financial needs of land-holding farmers. It is the largest DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) Scheme in the world.
Under this scheme, the financial benefit of Rs 6,000/- per year is transferred directly into the bank accounts of farmers’ families across the country. The scheme has increased farmers’ capacity for risk-taking, allowing them to make riskier but productive investments and take advantage of the process and technical developments.
The contest is open to all.
