Participations are invited for Cyber Security Awareness Month Quiz Contest 2023 by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and MyGov. The last date of participation is November 15, 2023.

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on 26 July 2014 to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development. It is aimed at creating a common platform for Indian citizens to “crowdsource governance ideas from citizens”. Its users discuss and contribute to various government projects and plans. It also allows users to upload documents in various formats.

The website is hosted and managed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the aim was to reduce the long gap developed between the electorate and the Executive after being elected.

October is globally celebrated as the cyber security awareness month to raise awareness about online safety. Taking a step in this direction, DSCI is spearheading a month-long campaign centered around the theme ‘Cyber Safety Starts With You’.

The objective of the quiz is to spread awareness around Cyber Security Best Practices among citizens who access online services and most impart basic security hygiene to keep using digital services securely and stay cyber safe.
