Registrations are invited for Workshop on Light Optics Workshop at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata. Students in classes 7-11 are eligible to participate.
Established on 2nd May 1959 under the administrative control of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM) in Kolkata is widely regarded as the mother of science museum movement in India. The idea behind this pioneering initiative came from Dr. B C Roy, the then Chief Minister of West Bengal who after visiting the Deutsches Museum in Munich was inspired to create a similar institution in India for public engagement with science & technology.
Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM) Innovation Hub presents offline workshop on “Light Matters: Exploring the World of Optics”. Participation certificate will be provided to all successful participants.
School students of Class VII to XI are eligibile to participate.
November 28 and 29, 2024 (Thursday and Friday).
