Azim Premji University, Bengaluru brings you a Webinar series #SeekingSustainability: Nature Writing For Children. The series will be of special interest to aspiring writers, parents, educators, and book lovers everywhere.
Azim Premji University is a private university, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It was founded in 2010 and is named after Azim Premji, an Indian businessman and philanthropist who was chairman of Wipro Limited.
Reeni loves birds, so when she and her friend Yasmin choose a school project, surveying neighbours about birds is a natural choice. They are shocked to find that no one has heard of Bird Count India or the big event about to launch nationwide. Thousands will be counting birds as part of a global movement. Why doesn’t anyone care about city birds or the mayor blocking their city’s bird count?
Nature writing for children has grown vastly in recent years, with many authors, old and new, contributing a fascinating array of books aimed at diverse ages, from toddlers to young adults. To deepen our collective engagement with this genre, Azim Premji University brings you a Webinar series #SeekingSustainability: Nature Writing For Children. The series will be of special interest to aspiring writers, parents, educators, and book lovers everywhere.
