Registrations are invited for Mountains of Life Festival 2024 for School and College Students at Azim Premji University, Bhopal. The last date of registration is November 30, 2024.
Azim Premji University is a private university, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It was founded in 2010 and is named after Azim Premji, an Indian businessman and philanthropist who was chairman of Wipro Limited.
A second Azim Premji University campus opened in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in July 2023.
The third campus will come up in Ranchi, Jharkhand, while another is being planned in Northeast India. The university was established by the Azim Premji Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 2001. The university was set up under the Azim Premji University Act (2010) and recognised by the University Grants Commission under section 2F.
Building on the success of Rivers of Life in 2022 and Forests of Life in 2023, Mountains of Life uses the metaphor of the Indian festival to celebrate the joy of nature and communicate issues of sustainability and climate change through a multi-sensorial, immersive format.
This trilingual festival showcases research from student interns who have visited mountains across the length and breadth of India, along with art installations, cultural performances, movies, immersive installations, artefacts, interactive workshops, and more!
They cordially invite all schools, colleges, and organisations across Karnataka, as well as other states (if interstate travel is not a concern), that work with children and youth to participate in this festival.
From Grade VI students to young graduates and professionals, everyone is welcome to join us on this journey. Celebrate nature and understand sustainability and climate change issues through a trilingual, multi-sensorial and immersive festival.
December 4-12, 2024.
