Course Details

Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune under its β€˜Centre For Open Learning (CFOL)’ program, announces on-campus Short Courses exclusively for children – Basic Course in Digital Filmmaking for Children in Pune, Maharashtra.

This course provides basics of techniques, and applications of filmmaking. It is designed to introduce young learners to the art and aesthetic analysis of films in a simple and engaging manner. Through a hands-on approach, participants will explore the creative processes behind movie-making and learn how to develop the essential skill of storytelling.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the fundamentals of filmmaking.
  • Learn the basics of film language and storytelling techniques.
  • Gain an introduction to cinematography.
  • Explore the basics of editing and post-production.
  • Learn effective archival techniques and best practices.

04-08 November, 2024.

Timings

10 am to 5 pm (lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm).

Max no. of Participants

45 (Course may not be conducted if there are less than 36 participants per batch).

Age

From 11 years completed to 18 years running as on 01stΒ November 2024.

Educational Qualification

06thΒ std. pass. In exceptional cases, 05thΒ std. may be considered.

Nationality

Indian.

Medium of Instructions

The medium of instruction would be mainly English and partly Hindi. Participants are expected to have adequate knowledge of English and/ or Hindi as regards to reading, writing & speaking.
