The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.

Reference to CBSE circular no.Acad-100/2023 dated 23.08.2023 and circular no.Acad-111/2023 dated 21.09.2023, this is to inform all the stakeholders that the last date for ‘Registration’ and ‘Applying to Participate’ in CBSE Games is further extended up to 07.10.2023 without late fee.

After the last date, there will be late fee for ‘Registration’ and ‘Applying to Participate’ in CBSE Games as per details given as follows:

The late fee shall be paid online while filling the online form on CBSE Sports Portal. Before ‘Registering’ and ‘Applying to Participate’ with late fee, the schools should check the dates of sports event(s) in CBSE Sports Calendar (2023-24).

Further, students of all schools affiliated to CBSE under independent category and managed by Army, Navy, Airforce, Defence, Railways, CRPF, Police, Assam Rifles, Para-Military, BSF, PSUs and other such central agencies, are also eligible to participate in CBSE Games, subject to remittance of Annual Sports Fee to CBSE.
