The NEP 2020 emphasises the importance of using technology into education in order to promote transformative learning experiences. This is specifically important in the area of teaching and learning of subjects like Mathematics where learners face challenges in understanding of abstract ideas and concepts.
The policy places a particular priority on developing eContent for teaching and learning in mathematics to the needs of students and promotes participation. In this context, the use of digital tools like Geogebra, with its changing simulations, interactive graphs, quizzes, games, and additional functions, can provides a flexible framework for developing interactive eContent and interesting learning experiences at all levels.
In this context, CIET-NCERT is organizing a five hour online training series on ‘Developing eContent’ from August 21 to 25, 2023, from 4 to 5 PM to orient the stakeholders on development of various eContent.
