CBSE has released a notification on celebration of National Space Day in schools. The last day for report submission is August 24, 2024.
The Government of India has officially declared August 23rd as National Space Day to honor the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, which achieved a historic soft landing on the Moon at ‘Shiv Shakti’ point on August 23, 2023. This day will be celebrated annually to inspire the nation’s youth about space technology and its applications.
As we prepare for the maiden National Space Day in August 2024, schools across the country are encouraged to actively participate in the celebrations. The goal is to foster a deep interest in space science among students, engaging them in India’s remarkable achievements in space exploration.
