The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12. The current Chairperson of CBSE is [[Nidhi Chhibber]], IAS.
This is in continuation to circular no.Acad-118/2023 dated 29.09.2023, the schools are requested to start special cleanliness drive till 31.10.2023 with active involvement of students, teachers and community to spread the message of cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene in the society.
The suggestive roaster for the participation in this Special Cleanliness Drive is as follows:

| Fourth Week of October 2023 | Delhi (East & West), Prayagraj, Vijayawada, Patna |

Photographs of pre-cleaning and post-cleaning should be clicked.
A brief report of activities conducted by each school alongwith 3-4 photographs (Pre and Post Cleaning) may be uploaded at the following link on the same day.
