The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.
Today’s young athletes in schools are going to be the future eminent sportspersons. In order to commemorate the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Play True day on April 19, 2024, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) India is organizing a series of events to increase awareness amongst stakeholders on anti-doping for a fortnight from l5th -30th April 2024. In this regard, with an aim to popularize the play true concept in sports at grass root level, NADA India is organizing webinar for physical education teachers of CBSE School as per the details below;
This webinar will equip physical education teachers with information and tools to increase understanding of fair play and disseminate positive values associated with sports – ethics, integrity, respect, and teamwork amongst school students.
All Principals/Heads of schools affiliated to CBSE are requested to disseminate this information amongst their physical education and other teachers. Also encourage them to register themselves for the same.
