About SPACE India

Space Technology and Education Pvt. Ltd., also recognized as SPACE India, is a pioneer organization with a legacy of 24 years in developing and popularizing Astronomy, Space Science, and STEM education and experiences at Grassroots level (K-12) and beyond. As a registered Space Tutor of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), SPACE India has been instrumental in creating an impact through science, and aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Competition Details

In 2024, World Space Week (WSW) focuses on “Space and Climate change.” This theme celebrates the transformative impact of space technology in our ongoing battle against climate change, emphasizing the proactive role space exploration plays in enhancing our understanding and management of Earth’s climate.

SPACE India is thrilled to announce the Graphic Novels Creation Competition as part of the World Space Week (WSW) 2024 celebrations. This competition challenges participants to create 4–5-page graphic novels that explore fictional space missions designed to solve and monitor climate change issues on Earth. Through creativity, science, and storytelling, participants will visualise how space technology can contribute to environmental sustainability. 

The winning entries will be published as eBooks on Amazon and Kindle, allowing participants to showcase their talent on a global platform. All winners will receive merit-based certificates for their outstanding contributions.

Eligibility Criteria

Open to independent participants (not affiliated with a school) between the ages of:

  • Category 1 : 10 -15 years.
  • Category 2 : 16-20 years.
  • Category 3 : 20 years above.
  • Participants must submit individually, and team submissions are not allowed. 

Awards

Three best entries in each category will be awarded. Winners will receive certificates and Space goodies by SPACE. 

  • 1st Prize: Exclusive SPACE X ISRO Goodie & Certificate.
  • 2nd Prize: SPACE X ISRO Goodie & Certificate.
  • 3rd Prize: Merit Certificate.
  • Certificate of Participation will be shared with all participants.
